LET US ALSO BE WITNESSES

Mark 16: 9-15

And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the good news to the whole creation. . . .”

Mark 16:15 (NRSV)

There are events in everyday life that are difficult to tell others about, because there are unique and unrepeatable moments, as there are incredible events.  That’s how incredible it must have been to see Jesus raised as if nothing had happened to him.  Therefore, it was necessary for many to see this reality in order for the truth to be known, for the promise to be transmitted to the rest of humanity.

The resurrection has been the basis of the Christian’s faith and with this promise of life we have been bequeathed the great mission of transmitting and telling the good news of the Gospel.

Let us also be living witnesses to the redeeming work of Christ in our lives. Let’s leave our comfort zone and deliver the message of salvation to everyone we meet. We share our joy in Christ, our hope, because many people need it.

 

Prayer: Lord, thank you for a new day. We ask for wisdom and opportunities to share the Gospel with those who need it.  Bless us with your presence and care so that we may be able to be faithful messengers of your love. Amen.

SEAMOS TAMBIÉN TESTIGOS

Marcos 16: 9-15

Y les dijo: Id por todo el mundo y predicad el evangelio a toda criatura

Marcos 16:15

Hay acontecimientos de la vida cotidiana que se hacen difícil contarlo a los demás. Porque hay momentos únicos e irrepetibles, como hay eventos increíbles. Así de increíble debe haber sido ver a Jesús resucitado como si nada le hubiera pasado. Por lo que se hacía necesario que muchos vieran tal realidad para que la verdad, la promesa fuera trasmitida con el resto de la humanidad.

La resurrección entonces ha sido la base de la fe del cristiano y con esta promesa de vida nos han legado la gran misión de trasmitir y contar la buena noticia del Evangelio.

Seamos también testigos vivos de la obra redentora de Cristo en nuestras vidas. Salgamos de nuestra zona de confort y llevemos el mensaje de salvación a todas las personas que nos encontremos. Compartamos nuestra alegría en Cristo, nuestra esperanza, nuestra fe, porque muchas personas lo necesitan.

 

Oración: Señor, gracias por un nuevo día. Te pedimos sabiduría y oportunidades para compartir el Evangelio con aquellos que lo necesitan. Bendícenos con tu presencia y cuidado para que podamos ser fieles mensajeros de tu amor. Amén.
