JESUS DOES EVERYTHING WELL

Mark 7:31–37

People were overwhelmed with amazement. “He has done everything well,” they said. “He even makes the deaf hear and the mute speak.”

Mark 7:37b (NIV)

Jesus, with a gesture of compassion, touched the man’s ears and loosened his tongue. And suddenly, the man could hear and speak clearly! But this miracle goes beyond physical healing. It is a powerful image of the transformation that God can work in our lives. Sometimes, we are unable to hear his guidance and his love. Often, we are also “mute,” unable to express our faith and our gratitude. Jesus, with his love and power, can open our ears so that we may hear his voice and open our tongues so that we may proclaim his name. He can free us from the bonds that prevent us from communicating with him and with others. We must pay attention to all areas of our lives, both physical and spiritual, for he is the one who can heal us completely, freeing us from every burden that prevents us from living life to the fullest.

Prayer: Thank you for freeing me from everything that prevents me from communicating with you and with others. Help my life to be a testimony of your healing power and your transformative love. In your name, Amen.

JESÚS TODO LO HACE BIEN

Marcos 7:31–37

(…) Jesús lo hace todo bien. ¡Hasta puede hacer que los sordos oigan y que los mudos hablen!

Marcos 7:37b

Jesús, con un gesto de compasión, le tocó los oídos y le soltó su lengua. ¡Y de repente, el hombre pudo oír y hablar con claridad! Pero este milagro va más allá de la curación física. Es una imagen poderosa de la transformación que Dios puede obrar en nuestras vidas. A veces, somos incapaces de escuchar su guía y su amor. También en no pocas ocasiones, somos "mudos", incapaces de expresar nuestra fe y nuestro agradecimiento. Jesús, con su amor y su poder, puede abrir nuestros oídos para que podamos escuchar su voz y abrir nuestra lengua para que podamos proclamar su nombre. Él puede liberarnos de las ataduras que nos impiden comunicarnos con Él y con los demás. Debemos prestar atención a todas las áreas de nuestra vida, tanto física como espiritual, él es quien puede sanarnos por completo, liberarnos de toda carga que nos impida vivir en plenitud.

Oración: Gracias, por liberarme de todo lo que me impide comunicarme contigo y con los demás. Ayúdame a que mi vida sea testimonio de tu poder sanador y de tu amor transformador. En tú nombre Amén.
