THE WISDOM OF GOD

James 1:1-11

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.

James 1:5 (NIV)

James was a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ. Christians, including our leaders, are servants of God. In verse 5, James speaks of wisdom, something we often lack, but we have a promise: if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask for it, and it will be given to us.

God does not condemn us for lacking wisdom; instead, wisdom is a gift from God.

To receive anything from God, we must ask for it in faith. If we pray without faith, God will not give us what we ask for. This rule applies not only to wisdom but to anything we ask for.

Brothers and sisters, may the wisdom that God gives us be used for the good of all, to discern between good and evil, and to attain a full life in Jesus Christ.

Prayer: Lord, I ask you from the bottom of my heart for wisdom to face the trials of this world. In your name we pray. Amen.

LA SABIDURÍA DE DIOS.

Santiago 1:1-11

Si algunos de vosotros tiene falta de sabiduría pídela a Dios, el cual da a todos abundantemente y sin reproche y le será dada.

Santiago 1:5

Santiago fue un siervo de Dios y del Señor Jesucristo. Los cristianos incluyendo los líderes somos siervos de Dios. En el versículo 5 Santiago habla de la sabiduría que es algo que a menudo nos falta, pero tenemos una promesa, si cualquiera tiene falta de sabiduría debemos pedirla y nos será dada.

Dios no nos censura porque nos haga falta la sabiduría, en cambio la sabiduría es un don de Dios.

Para recibir algo de Dios debemos pedirlo con fe. Si oramos sin fe, Dios no nos dará lo que pedimos. Esta regla no solo se aplica a la sabiduría sino a cualquier cosa que pidamos.

Hermanos y hermanas, que la sabiduría que Dios nos regala sea utilizada para bien de todos, para discernir el bien y el mal y para alcanzar una vida plena en Jesucristo.

Oración:  Señor te pido de corazón sabiduría para enfrentar las pruebas de este mundo. En tu nombre oramos. Amén.
