A LOVING FATHER

John 14:15- 31

Jesus answered him, ‘Those who love me will keep my word, and my Father
will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.”

John 14:23 (NRSV)

All of us who are mothers and fathers love our sons and daughters with fervent love, even though sometimes they don’t behave properly, and we spend our time giving them advice so that they learn to live correctly. We Christians have a loving Father in heaven who loves us unconditionally, protects us, teaches us, corrects our mistakes, and forgives us when we are disobedient to His Word. And, even then, He continues to love us and He doesn’t hold a grudge. On the contrary, He continues to love us even more strongly, because He is a loving father who seeks us and leads us by the hand along paths of love, faith, and forgiveness. His love for us is infinite. He was the first to love us, and His love will be forever.

Prayer: Father, for your love, patience, and forgiveness, I give you infinite thanks. Amen.

UN PADRE AMOROSO

Juan 14:15- 31

Respondió Jesús y dijo: El que me ama, sus palabras guardará y mi Padre lo amará y vendremos a él y haremos morada con él.

Juan 14:23

Todos los que somos madres y padres amamos a nuestros hijos e hijas con ferviente amor, aunque a veces ellos no se comportan adecuadamente y nos pasamos el tiempo dándole consejos para que aprendan a vivir correctamente. Nosotros los cristianos también tenemos un padre amoroso que está en el cielo, que nos ama incondicionalmente, nos protege, nos enseña, corrige nuestros errores y nos perdona cuando somos desobediente de su Palabra; y aún así Él nos sigue amando, no guarda rencor,  al contrario nos sigue amando con más fuerza, porque es un padre amoroso que nos busca y nos lleva de su mano por sendas de amor, fe y perdón. Su amor hacia nosotros es infinito Él nos amó primero y su amor será para siempre.

Oración: Padre por tu amor, paciencia y perdón te doy infinitas gracias. Amén.
