AFTER KNOWING CHRIST

 

Philippians 3:8-14

I am confident of this, that the one who  began a good work among you will bring it to completion by the day of Jesus Christ.

Philippians 1:6 NRSV

            If you lived your ideal life, what would you like to do? Help others?  Achieve balance in your life? Build deep and satisfying relationships? Pass more time with your family? Begin your own business? To have a healthy life? Lead a holy life? The list could be long.

            Now all  that is possible, when we acquire the knowledge of Jesus Christ. Knowledge is wisdom, wisdom is the art of living. Lack of knowledge brings destruction, brings crisis, brings defeats. Many times, we do not find answers to our problems because of our blindness in not seeing what we need to move forward, and the only things we can see are obstacles. God probably does not remove the obstacles each time we pray. He wants us to grow and to be responsible, so that guided by the Holy Spirit and based in the Bible, we can overcome whatever obstacle. What God seeks is to mold and strengthen our character.

            Has God forgotten you? In no way.  Will you forget about God? That is more likely to happen.  And in order not to forget Him, you must be connected to Him with a grateful heart, not with a heart full of complaints. Always remember that even if you forget, God will never forget you. Go after your dreams always remembering  the words of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 1:6.

 

Prayer:  Lord, we want to get to know you until we see your work completed in us. Amen.

TRAS EL CONOCIMIENTO DE CRISTO

Filipenses 3:8-14

Estoy convencido de esto: el que comenzó tan buena obra en ustedes la irá perfeccionando hasta el día de Cristo Jesús.

Filipenses 1:6

            Si usted viviera su vida ideal, ¿qué le gustaría hacer? ¿Ayudar a otros? ¿Alcanzar equilibrio en su vida? ¿Entablar relaciones profundas y satisfactorias? ¿Pasar más tiempo con su familia? ¿Comenzar su propio negocio? ¿Tener una vida saludable? ¿Llevar una vida santa? La lista podría ser larga.

            Ahora,  todo eso es posible cuando adquirimos el conocimiento de Jesucristo. Conocimiento es sabiduría, sabiduría es el arte de vivir. La falta de conocimiento trae destrucción, trae crisis, trae derrotas; muchas veces no encontramos respuestas a nuestros problemas por nuestra falta de conocimiento, por nuestra ceguera al no ver lo que necesitamos  para seguir adelante, y lo único que alcanzamos a ver son obstáculos. Dios probablemente no te quite los obstáculos cada vez que oras. Él desea que tú crezcas y seas responsable para que, guiado por el Espíritu Santo y basado en la Biblia,  puedas vencer cualquier obstáculo. Lo que Dios busca es formar y fortalecer nuestro carácter.

            ¿Dios se ha olvidado de ti? De ninguna manera. ¿Te olvidarás tú de Dios? Es lo más probable que ocurra. Y para no olvidarse de Él hay que estar conectado con Él con un corazón agradecido, no con un corazón lleno de quejas. Recuerda siempre que aunque tú lo olvides, Dios nunca se olvidará de ti. Ve tras tus sueños recordando las palabras del Apóstol Pablo en Filipenses 1:6.

 

Oración: Señor, queremos seguir tras tus pasos y conocerte hasta ver tu obra completada en nosotros. Amén.
