HE WILL HEAR ME

Micah 7:7

He will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold his righteousness.

Micah  7: 9 (NIV)

            Friends may be disloyal, but the Lord will not turn away from you; on the contrary, He will hear all your desires, watch over your steps and accompany you on your life’s journey. To live in distrust is a miserable state, but who has not suffered the experience of betrayal?

            Our wisdom lies in trusting in the Lord, and not despairing. Even if our family often does not listen to us, let us wait on God because He will hear us. He will hear us as much or more because of the silence of others, and soon we will have reason to cry out like Micah: The Lord will bring me to the light, He will cause me to see His victory.

            Because God is the living God, He can hear us. Because He is a loving God, He will hear, because He is a God who goes along with you and me in our daily cares. If each of us can speak of Him as one speaks to a Father, we will be able to say with absolute certainty: “My God will hear me.”

 

Prayer: Father, with you we share our lives in prayer, for we know that you will hear us. Amen

EL ME OIRÁ

Miqueas 7:7

El Señor me llevará a la luz, me hará ver su  victoria

Miqueas  7: 9 b

            Los amigos pueden ser desleales, pero el Señor no se alejará de ti; al contrario, Él oirá todos tus deseos, velará tus pasos y te acompañará en el camino de tu vida. Vivir en la desconfianza  es un estado miserable pero ¿quién no ha sufrido la experiencia de la traición?

            Nuestra sabiduría está en confiar en el Señor, y no desesperar. Si aún nuestra familia muchas veces no nos atiende, esperemos en Dios porque Él nos oirá. Él nos oirá tanto o más por causa del silencio de otras personas, y pronto tendremos razón para clamar como Miqueas: El Señor me llevará a la luz, me hará ver su victoria.

            Porque Dios es el Dios vivo, Él puede oírnos. Porque Él es un Dios amante, Él oirá, porque es un Dios que va junto a ti y a mí en nuestros diarios afanes. Si cada uno de nosotros puede hablar de Él como se habla con un Padre, podremos decir con certeza absoluta: “mi Dios me oirá”.

 

Oración: Padre, contigo compartimos nuestras vidas en oración, pues sabemos que tú nos oirás. Amén.
