PRAYING AT ALL TIMES

Colossians 4:2

Offer prayers and petitions in the Spirit all the time. Stay alert by hanging in there and praying for all believers.

Ephesians 6:18 (CEB)

            It could be that we ask for evil but God answers with good.

The answers of God are wiser than our prayers. The purpose of prayer is not to obtain what we want, but to accept what God wants. 

            If you know that the hand of God is in everything, pray leaving everything in God’s hands.

            Prayer should be our first option, not our last recourse.

            The work of God is carried out in those who pray, because it is a dialogue that changes lives. The same biblical history shows, as the author said, that the History belongs to the intercessors. 

Do not stop praying then! 

 

Prayer: Our Father in heaven, holy be your Name.  Teach us to pray guided by your Spirit. Amen.

ORANDO EN TODO TIEMPO

Colosenses 4:2

… no dejen ustedes de orar, rueguen  y pidan a Dios guiados siempre por el Espíritu.

Efesios 6:18b

            Puede ser que nosotros pidamos mal, pero Dios contesta bien.

            Las respuestas de Dios son más sabias que nuestras oraciones. El propósito de la oración no es obtener lo que queremos, sino aceptar lo que quiere Dios.

            Si sabes que la mano de Dios está en todo, ora dejando todo en manos de Dios.

            La oración debe ser nuestra primera opción, no el último recurso.

            La obra de Dios la llevan a cabo los que oran, porque es un diálogo que cambia vidas. La misma historia bíblica demuestra, tal como dijera un autor, que la Historia pertenece a los intercesores.

            Entonces, no dejen ustedes de orar.

 

Oración: Padre nuestro que estás en los cielos, santificado sea tu Nombre. Enséñanos a orar guiados por tu Espíritu. Amén.
