DO GOOD AND SAVE LIFE.

Mark 3: 1-6

“Is it lawful to do good or to do harm on the sabbath, to save life or to kill?”

Mark 3:4 (NRSV)

Sometimes laws and traditions make life a utopia: life in the fullest impossible; control mechanisms limiting the realization of the human being in all aspects of life.

Jesus has left us with the two most important commandments that sum up all the law: “Love the Lord your God with all yout heart and mind and soul, and love your neighbor as yourself.” Anything that goes against this is outside of a life with God.

Nothing keeps us from doing what is right. We cannot let our neighbors die, help, save, or raise them up by other precepts. We do not sin only when we do evil, because in failing to do what is right we fall into the same sin.

Jesus has come into your life in order to lift and restore you, no matter the day, the hour, nor the curcumstances; what is essential is that he came to you.

 

Prayer: Lord, may I always do what is right to those around me. May your love be the impulse that drives your creation to save life. Amen.

HAZ EL BIEN Y SALVA LA VIDA.

Marcos 3: 1-6

¿Es lícito en los días de reposo hacer bien, o hacer mal; salvar la vida o quitarla?

Marcos 3: 4

Algunas veces las leyes y las tradiciones hacen de la vida una utopía. Imposibilidad de vivir a plenitud. Mecanismo de control que limita la realización del ser humano en todos los aspectos de la vida.

Jesús nos ha dejado los dos mandamientos más importantes que resumen toda la ley Amarás al Señor tu Dios con toda tu alma, mente y corazón y amarás a tu prójimo como a ti mismo. Todo lo que atente en contra de esto está fuera de una vida con Dios.

Nada nos impide hacer el bien. No podemos dejar morir, socorrer, salvar, levantar a nuestros prójimos por otros preceptos. No solo pecamos si hacemos el mal, porque dejando de hacer el bien caemos en el mismo pecado.

Jesús ha venido a tu vida para levantarte y restaurarte, no importa el día, la hora ni las circunstancias, lo esencial es que vino a ti.

 

Oración: Señor, que pueda siempre hacer el bien a los demás. Que tu amor sea la ley que impulse a tu creación a salvar la vida. Amén.
