COMPASSION

Philippians 2:3-4

Not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. (NIV)

Philippians 2:4

Sometimes, those of us who collaborate in different areas or ministries in our churches have days full of planned tasks, and others that add up unexpectedly. No matter how much we try to get ahead the day before, many times we are pressured by chores.

So, sometimes in those moments of rush, hurry and agony to fulfill a plan or need, we find other brothers and sisters who stop us and start talking about situations, about their days, about other agonies. There I see the presence of God.

Although the lack of time can frustrate us, it is in these times that God speaks to us so that we stop and pause and listen to the other who comes needing understanding and compassion in difficult moments, and together, we try to understand and find a solution, or contribute good actions to such needs.

 

Prayer: Thank you, Lord, for those who meet us along the way. Thank you for the love and education. Amen.

COMPASIÓN

FILIPENSES 2:3-4

Cada uno debe velar no sólo por sus propios intereses sino también por los intereses de los demás

Filipenses 2:4

A veces quienes colaborar, sirviendo en las iglesias, en diferentes áreas o ministerios, tienes los días llenos de tareas planificadas y otras que se suman inesperadamente. No importa cuánto se trate de adelantar el día antes, muchas veces estamos presionados en los quehaceres.

Entonces a veces en esos momentos de apuro, de prisa y agonía por cumplir con un plan o necesidad, nos encontramos con otras hermanos y hermanos que nos detienen y se ponen a conversar, de situaciones, de sus días, de otras agonías , diferentes. Ahí veo la presencia de Dios.

Aunque la falta de tiempo nos puede frustrar, en esto Dios nos habla para que nos detengamos y hagamos una pausa y escuchemos al otro y la otra que llegan necesitando comprensión, compasión en momentos difíciles y tratar juntos de entender y buscar solución, o aportar acciones de bien a tales necesidades.

 

Oración: Gracias, Señor, por aquellos que nos encuentran en el camino. Gracias por el amor y la dedicación. Amén.
