ONLY LOVE

Luke 6: 27-38

But love your enemies, do good. . . .

Luke 6:35 (NRSV)

How great is the God’s love! Capable of loving those who hate Him! How great are we children of God if we love our enemies with all our hearts!

 This is God’s command. That we love not only with our heart, but that it is our will to do so. Only the grace of Christ can help us to challenge the good will to love everyone equally. Jesus has given us the Golden Rule that commands us to do to others what we would like them to do to us. Therefore, what we receive will depend on our actions. We cannot give what we do not have, but we do have the love of God, so let us give that love to everyone and that will be a blessing for our lives. Remember that we live and dwell in God and His love reaches all of humanity. Do not limit love, rather open your heart and learn to love. It is simple, just love.

How great is God’s love! Capable of loving those who hate Him! How great children of God we are if we wholeheartedly love our enemies!

 

Prayer: Loving Father, how much I need your love for my relationships with others. Teach me to love freely without ties, as you do. You are love and I want to dwell there with you. Amen.

SOLO AMA

Lucas 6: 27-38

 ¿Amad a vuestros enemigos y haced el bien…?

Lucas 6:35

¡Cuán grande es el amor de Dios! ¡Capaz de amar a quienes le aborrecen! ¡Cuán grandes hijos de Dios somos si de todo corazón amamos a nuestros enemigos!

Este es el mandato de Dios. Que amemos no sólo de corazón, sino que sea nuestra voluntad hacerlo. Sólo la gracia de Cristo puede ayudarnos a desafiar la buena voluntad de amar a todos por igual. Jesús nos ha dado la Regla de Oro que nos manda hacer a los demás lo que quisiéramos que ellos nos hicieran a nosotros. Por lo tanto, de nuestras actuaciones dependerá lo que recibamos. No podemos dar lo que no tenemos, pero sí tenemos el amor de Dios pues démosle ese amor a todos y eso será bendición para nuestras vidas. Recuerda que convivimos y habitamos en Dios y su amor alcanza para toda la humanidad. No limites tú el amor, más bien abre tu corazón y aprende a amar. Es simple, solo ama.

 

Oración: Padre amoroso, cuánto necesito de tu amor para mis relaciones con los demás. Enséñame a amar libremente sin ataduras, como tú lo haces. Tú eres amor y ahí quiero habitar contigo. Amén.
