CHOOSE FORGIVENESS

Matthew 18: 15-20

“If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over. (NIV)

Matthew 18:15

Forgiveness is that which forgives and forgets. That which loves above all, and tries to redeem evil, pride and resentment. It is what God teaches us. We say that the Gospel is lived and shared, because forgiveness must also dwell in our hearts, freeing us from dark things and premeditated thoughts.

Forgiveness is healing for our spirit. It strengthens and renews our being and, best of all, it makes us truly  more like God.

Therefore, I want to invite you to save your heart and cleanse your soul. To put things in their place. To take the first step toward reconciliation. Do not give room to the evil that dwells in our human being that is always lurking and rejoicing in causing disunity. Rather, choose to always forgive and you will be closer to God.    

 

Prayer: Lord, fill me with your forgiveness and reconciliation. I want to feel free and at peace, I do not want to harbor pain and resentment in my heart. Help me to forgive under the shadow of your love. Amen.

ELIGE EL PERDÓN

MATEO 18: 15-20

Por tanto, si tu hermano peca contra ti, ve y repréndele estando tú y él sólo, si te oyere, has ganado a tu hermano.

El verdadero perdón. Ese que sí perdona y sí olvida. Que ama por encima de todo e intenta redimir el mal, la soberbia y el rencor, es el que Dios nos enseña. Decimos que el Evangelio se vive y se comparte, pues el perdón también debe morar en nuestros corazones, liberándonos de cosas turbias y pensamientos premeditados.

El perdón es sanación para nuestro espíritu. Fortalece y renueva nuestro ser y lo mejor, nos hace verdaderamente semejantes a Dios.

Por eso, quiero invitarte a salvar tu corazón y limpiar tu alma. A poner las cosas en su lugar. A dar tú el primer paso a la reconciliación. No des cabida al mal que mora en nuestro ser humano que siempre está asechando y alegrándose por propiciar la desunión. Más bien elige perdonar siempre y estarás más cerca de Dios.

 

Oración: Señor, lléname de tu perdón y reconciliación. Quiero sentirme libre y en paz, no quiero albergar en mi corazón dolores y rencores. Ayúdame a perdonar bajo la sombra de tu amor. Amén.
