HEALTHY FAITH
Mark 7: 31:37
They brought to him a deaf man who had an impediment in his speech; and they begged him to lay his hand on him.
Mark 7:32 (NRSV)
After recounting the death and resurrection of Christ, the Pastor preached on faith and a new attitude about life. At the end of her message, we sang, “If I had faith like a mustard seed . . . .”
Sometimes in Christian life, due to daily difficulties, faith weakens and we begin to stop believing in God. That’s the time to hold on to God’s hand. Seeking God’s presence is believing and being certain that, although we are passing through the valley of the shadow of death, we need not fear; his rod and staff comfort us. When we have faith in Jesus, his light illuminates us, and we can shine on others, as did those who carried the sick man so that Jesus could place his hands on him.
I imagine them begging him on bended knee to cure their friend; they were convinced that Jesus would heal him because a healthy faith fills us with life, with hope and perseverance to achieve our dreams.
Brothers and sisters, may faith never fail!
Prayer: Lord, give me faith to infect others in your name. Amen.

LA FE SANA
MARCOS 7: 31:37
