Trinity Sunday

A PERFECT TEAM

John 3:1-21

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

John 3:16 (NIV)

Throughout human history, God has endowed humanity with the intelligence to create devices that have aided in the development and improvement of daily life. One such perfect device is the printing press. The printing press emerged in the 15th century, facilitating access to information and promoting scientific, cultural, and religious development. The printing press can be considered a perfect invention capable of mass-producing texts.

Long before the printing press existed, there was a perfect team at work: the Holy Trinity. The Father so loved the world, with an inexplicable, immeasurable love, that He sent His Son Jesus to save us, so that everyone who believes might have eternal life. On the day of Pentecost, He sent the Holy Spirit to be with us, to be our advocate in times of trouble: a perfect team with the sole purpose of bringing us into His wonderful light so that we may live with dignity.

The church is called to be the image of the Trinity, the team in perfect communion and perfect love, carrying out the mission that He has entrusted to us.

Prayer: Holy Trinity, thank you for working on behalf of your Creation. Thank you for having made us in your image and likeness. May your church be one in love, fellowship and equality. Amen.

Domingo de la Trinidad

UN EQUIPO PERFECTO

Juan 3:1-21

Porque de tal manera amó Dios al mundo, que ha dado a su Hijo unigénito, para que todo aquel que en él cree, no se pierda, más tenga vida eterna.

A lo largo de la historia de la humanidad, Dios dotó de inteligencia para la creación de equipos que han ayudado en el desarrollo y en la mejora de la vida cotidiana. Uno de esos equipos perfectos creados es la imprenta. La imprenta comenzó en el siglo XV, facilitando el acceso a la información, promoviendo el desarrollo, científico, cultural y religioso. Se puede considerar a la imprenta como un equipo perfecto capaz de reproducir textos de forma masiva.

Mucho antes que existiera la imprenta, había un equipo perfecto funcionando: La Santísima Trinidad. El Padre amó tanto al mundo, con un amor inexplicable, incalculable, que nos envió a su Hijo Jesús para salvarnos, para que todo el que crea tenga vida eterna. El día de Pentecostés envío al Espíritu Santo para que nos acompañe, para que sea nuestro defensor en momentos de apuros. Un equipo perfecto con el único objetivo de traernos a su luz admirable y vivamos dignamente.

La iglesia está llamada a ser imagen de la Trinidad, el equipo en perfecta comunión y en perfecto amor; realizando la misión que nos ha sido otorgada.

Oración: Dios Trino, gracias por obrar en favor de tu Creación, gracias por habernos hecho a tu imagen y semejanza. Que tu iglesia pueda ser una en amor, comunión e igualdad. Amén.
