A Special Note
Since February of 2014, Elisa Menocal has shouldered the task of producing this blog. At first she did both the editing and the translating, but as you have seen for some time there has been a team of translators helping her in her work.
As of today, Elisa has stepped down from this responsibility.
It would mean a great deal to her if you could tell her how you have used Su Voz and what it has meant to you. You have probably never noticed that at the bottom of the screen each day is the word COMMENT. If you click on that, you can leave a comment that she will be able to see.
Thank you.

I HAVE NO SILVER OR GOLD, BUT WHAT I HAVE I
GIVE YOU
Acts 3:1-10
But
Peter said, “I have no silver or gold, but what I have I give you;
in
the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, stand up and walk.”
Acts 3:6 (NRSV)
The man who was lame from birth was
also asking for alms from Peter and John, but the disciples only asked him to
look at them; contrary to what the lame man hoped, they told him that they had
no money, that what they had they would give to him. Immediately the man was
made whole and went with them into the temple walking, leaping and praising
God.
On the way to Church, in front of
our doors, we find people needing money, clothes, medicines. Those we recognize easily, but how often have
we noticed if there is someone among us who is spiritually crippled, lame,
weak, who is knocked down by circumstances, and who needs us to bid them to get
up and walk?
At the doors of our churches are
people who need to be seen, people who need to be told, “Look at me;” people
who need to be told, “I have no silver or gold, but what I have, I give to
you.”
Prayer: Lord, open our eyes so that we can see those people who seem
to us to have everything, but who need you desperately. Amen.

NO TENGO
ORO NI PLATA, PERO LO QUE TENGO TE DOY.
Hechos 3:1-10
Mas Pedro dijo: No tengo plata ni oro,
pero lo que tengo te doy;
en el nombre de Jesucristo de Nazaret,
levántate y anda.
Hechos 3:6
andando, saltando, y alabando a Dios.
Elisa-
