BY HIS GREAT LOVE

Ephesians 3:14-21

and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Christ’s love is vast, eternal and capable of everything. It is different because it is divine. I remember a song that, as a child, I sang in camp. It said, “God’s love is so high you can’t get over it, so low you can’t get under it, so wide you can’t get around it; you’ve got to go in at the door.”

Christ’s love for us remains unchangeable, despite our egotistical, disobedient and indifferent behavior. However, our way of practicing love is so different! How easily we disappoint those we say we love perhaps because they did not respond as we hoped or simply failed us.

The Lord never lets us down. He knows us and understands us. He forgives us and continues loving us as always. The strength of his love exerts a rare magnetism that attracts and conquers the hearts of men and women in all parts of the world.

Let’s let our minds soar to attune ourselves with this great truth and pray that God’s unchangeable love becomes a realized experience in our lives.

 

Prayer: Lord, keep us in your great love. Amen.

POR SU GRAN AMOR

Efesios 3:14-21

… y de conocer el amor de Cristo, que excede a todo conocimiento…

Efesios 3:19

El amor de Cristo es extenso, eterno y todo lo puede. Es diferente, porque es divino. Recuerdo una canción que cantaba de niña en los campamentos que decía: “El amor de Dios es maravilloso… tan grande que no puedo ir arriba de él, tan bajo que no puedo ir debajo de él, tan ancho que no puedo salirme de él...”

Su amor por nosotros permanece inalterable, a pesar de nuestro comportamiento egoísta, desobediente e indiferente. Sin embargo, ¡qué diferente es nuestra forma de practicar el amor! ¡Con cuánta facilidad nos desilusionamos de aquellos que decimos amar, porque tal vez no nos respondieron como esperábamos o sencillamente nos fallaron.

El Señor jamás se desilusiona de nosotros. Él nos conoce y nos entiende. Nos perdona y continúa amándonos como siempre. La fuerza de su amor ejerce un raro imán que atrae y conquista los corazones de hombres y mujeres en todas partes del mundo.

Dejemos volar nuestra mente para sintonizarnos con esta gran verdad y roguemos para que el amor inmutable de Dios se convierta en una experiencia real en nuestra vida.

 

Oración: Guárdanos en tu gran amor, Señor. Amén.
