ASSETS IN HOPE AND ACTION, THE KINGDOM GROWS

Luke 13: 18-21

It is like yeast a woman took and mixed into about sixty measures of dlour until it worked all through the dough. (NIV)

Often, we become sad and see the Kingdom of God far away, in a future we cannot touch. This may occur when everything we experience around us in our communities, in the neighborhood and in our own family is tainted with conflict. This is something we talk and hear a lot about. and we feel like thorns inside. 

Living faith moves us from within to act. Look for options, a little earth, a seed, water, sun, love. The smallest seed turns purple for those who need it.

No matter how small our actions are, like a small measure of yeast, with the proper application of the desire to do something, of kneading enough to help, to do what is right for those who need justice, in our reflections, looks from other angles, hugs, and again mixing the ingredients we have and kneading the dough. All these actions sprout and grow, and the Kingdom of God grows in our midst.

 

Prayer: Dear God, may we grow and may your Kingdom of peace and love grow in us. Amen.

ACTIVOS EN ESPERANZA Y ACCIÓN, EL REINO CRECE

Lucas 13: 18-21

Es como la levadura que una mujer tomó y mezcló con tres medidas de harina, hasta que hizo crecer toda la masa.

A menudo con todo lo que experimentamos a nuestro alrededor en nuestras comunidades, en el vecindario y en nuestras propias familias, nos entristecemos y vemos al Reino de Dios lejos, en un futuro que no llegamos a tocar, algo de lo que hablamos y escuchamos mucho y sentimos como espinas dentro.

La fe viva nos mueve desde dentro para actuar. Buscar opciones, un poco de tierra, una semilla, agua, sol, amor. La semilla más pequeña se vuelve morada para los que la necesiten. Por pequeña que sean nuestras acciones, como una pequeña medida de levadura, con la debida aplicación de fuerza del querer hacer algo, de amasar lo suficiente para ayudar, hacer por lo que es justo, para los que necesitan justicia, y las correctas pausas, reflexiones, miradas desde otros ángulos, abrazos y de nuevo mezclar los ingredientes que tenemos y a amasar la masa, que no puede hacer otra cosa con estas acciones que crecer, y crece el Reino de Dios en medio nuestro.

 

Oración: Dios amado, que podamos crecer y que crezca en nosotros tu Reino de paz y amor. Amén.
