YOU, KIND GOD, SUPPORT ME

Psalm 94:18

When I said, “My foot is slipping,” your unfailing love, Lord, supported me.

There are many times in life that we need the strength that comes from God, because our own strength is completely depleted.

What a tremendous gift to educate us in that security of your daily company! This Psalm is a song of gratitude because this good and kind God led us to the knowledge of His love. He gave us the possibility of being reborn from His mercy, and now we know that we do not walk alone, that we do not face anguish alone, because He does not abandon us. We will not be free from evil knocking at our door. Being Christians does not exile us from the circumstances of pain that the world suffers. However, at the edge of every abyss in our lives, there has been, is, and will be, that support of God that comes at the exact, right moment and in unimaginable ways. If your steps pass through valleys of darkness, do not fear, because God’s mercy embraces you today, and always, Amen.

TÚ DIOS BUENO, ME SOSTIENES.

Salmo 94:18

Cuando me parece que voy a tropezar, tu misericordia, Señor, me sostiene.

Son muchos los momentos en la vida en que necesitamos las fuerzas que vienen de Dios, porque las nuestras están completamente agotadas.

¡Qué tremendo regalo educarnos en esa seguridad de su compañía diaria! Este Salmo es un canto de gratitud porque ese Dios bueno, nos condujo al conocimiento de su amor, nos dio la posibilidad de renacer desde su misericordia, y ahora sabemos que no caminamos solas, que no enfrentamos las angustias solos, porque Él no abandona. No estaremos libres de que el mal toque nuestra puerta. Ser cristianos y cristianas no nos exilia de las circunstancias de dolor que padece el mundo, sin embargo, al borde de cada abismo en nuestra vida, ha estado, está, y estará, ese sostén de Dios que llega en el momento preciso y de maneras inimaginables. Si transitan tus pasos valles de sombra, no temas, porque la misericordia de Dios te abraza hoy, y siempre, Amén.
