FIRMNESS AND COURAGE

Psalm 37:23-24

...though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand. (NIV)

Psalm 37:24

The marvelous thing about our God is that he knows our hearts. There are days in which we succumb to responding or acting according to the flesh. But God loves us greatly, and is faithful, even when we, as humans, are incapable of it. Thus, as a father holds his son’s hand, God will take ours in his and will help us even to the ends of our journey.     

The Lord knows there are moments when we stumble. We can even turn away by engaging in the very activity that caused us to cry out to the Lord for his salvation for the first time. But his Word assures us that his love is eternal and that when we call on his name, he will hear us.

Don’t be discouraged because of those stumbling stones you encounter in your path, because the Lord is always with you. The Scriptures tell is that we are in the palm of his hand. There is hope in the Lord. He delights in us and wants to give us the best, because his love is perfect. 

 

Prayer: Lord and God, the cross was necessary for sinners such as I. I give you thanks because you loved me enough to choose me, and I have accepted the free gift of salvation. Amen.

FIRMEZA Y VALENTIA

Salmo 37:23-24

...pero no caerá, porque el Señor lo sostiene de la mano.

Salmo 37:24

Lo maravilloso de nuestro Dios poderoso es que conoce nuestros corazones. Hay días en los que sucumbimos a responder o actuar según la carne. Pero Dios nos ama mucho, y es fiel incluso cuando nosotros, como seres humanos, somos incapaces de serlo. Así como un padre agarra la mano de su hijo, Él tomará la nuestra en la suya y nos ayudará a lo largo de nuestro camino.

El Señor sabe que hay momentos en los que tropezamos. Incluso podemos apartarnos implicándonos en la actividad misma que nos hizo clamar al Señor pidiendo su salvación por primera vez. Pero su Palabra nos asegura que su amor es eterno y que cuando invoquemos su Nombre, Él nos oirá.

No te desalientes por culpa de esas piedras de tropiezo que encuentras en tu camino,  porque el Señor está siempre contigo. Las Escrituras nos dicen que estamos en la palma de su mano. En el Señor hay esperanza. Él se deleita en nosotros y quiere darnos lo mejor, porque su amor es perfecto.

 

Oración: Señor y Dios, la cruz fue necesaria para pecadores como yo. Te doy gracias porque me amaste lo suficiente como para escogerme y yo he aceptado el regalo gratuito de la salvación. Amén.
