“The pleasure of their grandparents”

“Children’s children are a crown to the aged”

Proverbs 17, 6ª (NIV)

There are many people who live in loneliness, even when they are surrounded by others. They are greatly afraid of growing old, because they don’t know what life will bring them. Instead, if we are really practicing our faith, we must have the confidence and trust in our Lord and in His promises. He is in control. First of all, we are not alone, and as His word says, He will renew our inner self from day to day, and we will have new strength when we wake up every morning. Certainly, many of us have been given the privilege of being grandparents. In many ways we are grandparents of all the children in our families, and as such, we have the opportunity to rectify the mistakes made in the education of our own children. We can do this with all the love and tenderness of this world to help in the education of these little boys and girls, teaching them about God, his purpose for our lives, and obedience in love.

 

Prayer: Thank you, Lord, for the privilege of companionship, of loving without barriers. Thank you for the confidence that you are with us. Help us, with your Holy Spirit, in the education of the children in our families. Amen.

“El placer de sus abuelos”

“corona de los viejos son los nietos”

Prov 17, 6ª.

Hay muchas personas que viven en soledad, incluso estando rodeados, y sienten gran temor de envejecer, pues no saben lo que les deparará la vida. En cambio, si realmente practicamos nuestra fe, debemos tener la seguridad y confianza en nuestro Señor y en sus promesas, Él está al control, primeramente, no estamos solos, y como dice su palabra, Él renovará nuestro interior de día en día y tendremos nuevas fuerzas al despertar cada mañana. Ciertamente a muchos nos ha regalado el privilegio de ser abuelos, abuelas, y es que lo somos de muchas maneras de las niñas y niños en nuestras familias y tenemos la posibilidad de rectificar, los errores cometidos en la educación de nuestros hijos, con todo el amor y la ternura de este mundo poder ayudar en la educación de estas pequeñas y pequeños, enseñándoles de Dios, de su propuesta de vida, de la obediencia en amor.

 

Oración: Gracias Señor por el privilegio de acompañar, de amar sin barreras, gracias por la confianza de que estas con nosotros. Ayúdanos con tu Espíritu Santo en la educación de las niñas y niños de nuestra familia. Amén.
