CHRISTIAN DUTY

Mark 16: 15-20

He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. (NIV)

Mark 16: 15

It is a Christian duty to share the Gospel and bring the light of Christ. Like the disciples, we are also promised the power of the Holy Spirit to perform works of love and be instruments of peace, brotherhood and compassion.             

Therefore, let us encourage each other to go out and share the Gospel with everyone we meet. May we be instruments in God’s hands to bring his hope to all around us.

Today also, the ascension of the Lord calls us to be witnesses of his love and his truth. And on this day, let us renew our commitment to Christ and his mission in the world. Let us be inspired to live a life dedicated to the service of others. Let us be brave witnesses of his love and the truth of it, bringing God’s light and hope where there is despair.

 

Prayer: Lord, may we not stop praising you today and sharing your love with those we meet during the journey of this day. May our lips be able to share good news, full of hope. May we announce you today, and show you in everything we do. Amen.

DEBER CRISTIANO

Marcos 16: 15-20

Y les dijo: Id por todo el mundo y predicad el evangelio a toda criatura

Marcos 16: 15

Es un deber cristiano compartir el Evangelio y llevar la luz de Cristo. Al igual que a los discípulos también se nos promete el poder del Espíritu Santo para realizar obras de amor y ser instrumentos de paz, hermandad y compasión.

Por lo tanto, animémonos unos a otros a salir y compartir el Evangelio a todas las personas que nos encontramos. Que podamos ser instrumentos en las manos de Dios para llevar su esperanza a todo nuestro alrededor.

Hoy también la ascensión del Señor nos llama a ser testigos de su amor y su verdad. Y en este día renovemos nuestro compromiso con Cristo y con su misión en el mundo. Seamos inspirado a vivir una vida entregada al servicio de los demás. Seamos testigos valientes de su amor y su verdad, llevando la luz de Dios y esperanza donde hay desesperación.

 

Oración: Señor, que hoy no dejemos de alabarte y de compartir tu amor con quienes nos encontremos durante el andar de este día. Que hoy nuestros labios puedan compartir buenas nuevas llenas de esperanza. Que hoy podamos anunciarte y mostrarte en todo lo que hagamos.  Amén.
