THOSE WHO ARE FOR JESUS
Mark 9: 38-41
Whoever is not against us is for us.
Mark 9: 40 (NIV)
In this morning’s Gospel, the disciples were concerned about finding other people, outside their “select group”, in whom the Holy Spirit was also at work. These people were able to cast out demons in the name of Jesus, but they were not well regarded by those who followed the Master more closely and proclaimed themselves to be the owners of the truth.
Jesus again brings his teachings to his friends, helping them to open their horizons regarding the importance of not making exclusive the construction of the Kingdom to be built, which is for everyone, and for all of them and their realities. The challenge today is to learn to discern who, even if they do not belong to our spaces, are also staking themselves on the same truth. Let us not be among those who put obstacles in the way of the search for that new heaven and earth but embraced by the Holy Spirit. Let us seek each day what unites us within our diverse realities.
Prayer: Thank you, Lord, for making us so different from each other, to keep us always attentive in the search for that truth of yours, which others also have, to bring to us. Amen.

LOS QUE ESTĆN A FAVOR DE JESĆS
Marcos 9: 38-41
QuiƩn no estƔ contra nosotros, realmente estƔ a nuestro favor.
Marcos 9: 40
