ANNOUNCE THE GOSPEL OF THE LORD SO THAT THE WORLD BELIEVES

John 16: 20 – 23ª

[…] for those, tanks to his Word, believe in me. (NIV)

Luke 10: 41 – 42

Daily, we carry out the commission to announce with love the Gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ our Lord, personally entrusted by the same author and consummate of eternal life for us. It has a main purpose: “that the world creates through our performance and announcement.”   

Jesus’ prayer in the garden reveals the purpose of his mission to us, in the face of the inevitable situation and proximity of his judgment, condemnation and death. He asks for those close to him and for all those who will one day believe the word of those who are directly experiencing the events.

We need to understand that our mission is a function of our Lord’s purpose: that the world believes, and that we be one, but through our testimony that can only fulfill that purpose by being united to him.

 

Prayer: We thank you, Lord, for commissioning us to be part of your purposes. Do not allow your Word to fail in the way, but that, through our unity and testimony, the world can believe in you. In your name, Amen.

ANNUNCIAR EL EVANGELIOPARA DEL SEÑOR PARA QIE EL MUNDO CREA

Juan 16: 20 – 23ª

(…) por los que gracias a su palabra creerán en mí.

Lucas 10: 41 – 42

Diariamente llevamos la comisión de anunciar con amor el Evangelio de la salvación en Jesucristo nuestro Señor, encomendada personalmente por el mismo autor y consumador de la vida eterna para nosotros/as; la misma tiene un propósito principal: “que el mundo crea mediante nuestra actuación y anuncio”.

La oración de Jesús en el huerto nos revela el propósito de su misión ante la inevitable situación y cercanía de su juicio, condenación y muerte. Él pide por sus cercanos/as y por todos/as los que un día creerán por la palabra de estos que están viviendo directamente los acontecimientos.

Necesitamos entender que nuestra misión está en función del propósito de nuestro Señor: que el mundo crea y que seamos uno, pero por medio de nuestro testimonio que solo puede cumplir ese propósito al estar unidos/as a Él.

 

Oración: Te damos gracias Señor por comisionarnos para ser parte en tus propósitos, no permitas que tu Palabra caiga en el camino, sino que, por nuestra unidad y testimonio, el mundo pueda creer en ti. En tu nombre, Amén.
