THERE IS POWER IN JESUS

Mark 6: 1-6

And he could do no deed of power there, except that he laid his hands on a few sick people and cured them

Mark 6:5 (NRSV)

This passage asks us to reflect on the importance of faith and humility in our relationship with Jesus. The text reminds us that his power isn’t limited by our expectations or prejudices, but is infinitely greater than all that we can imagine.

Like the inhabitants of Nazareth, we can lose the opportunity of experiencing the transforming power of Jesus if we don’t open our hearts to his grace and mercy. It’s important to remember that God can work miracles in our lives even in the most hopeless or difficult times, if we trust in Him with sincere and humble faith.

Let’s approach Jesus with an attitude of openneses and humility, recognizing his greatness and power to transform our lives.

 

Prayer: God of life,  you give us one more day, and we thank you for, one more day of life. Today, we ask that your healing and powerful hand will continue working miracles in all of creation and with those who need it the most. Transform everything with goodness and health. Amen.

HAY PODER EN JESÚS

Marcos 6: 1-6

No pudo hacer allí ningún milagro, aparte de poner las manos sobre unos pocos enfermos y sanarlos.

Marcos 6:5

Este pasaje nos invita a reflexionar sobre la importancia de la fe y la humildad en nuestra relación con Jesús. El texto nos recuerda que su poder no está limitado por nuestras expectativas o prejuicios, sino que es infinitamente mayor de lo que podemos imaginar.

Al igual que los habitantes de Nazaret, podemos perder la oportunidad de experimentar el poder transformador de Jesús si no abrimos nuestros corazones a su gracia y misericordia. Es importante recordar que Dios puede obrar milagros en nuestras vidas incluso en los momentos más inesperados o difíciles, si confiamos en Él con fe sincera y humildad.

Acerquémonos a Jesús con una actitud de apertura y humildad, reconociendo su grandeza y poder para transformar nuestras vidas.

 

Oración: Dios de la vida, otro nuevo día nos regalas y te agradecemos por un día más de vida. Te pedimos que hoy tu mano sanadora y poderosa continúe haciendo milagros en toda la creación y en especial en quienes más lo necesitan. Transforma todo en bien y en sanidad. Amén.
