THE CHOSEN SERVANT OF GOD

Matthew 12:14-21

Here is my servant whom I have chosen, the one I love, in whom I delight

Matthew  12:18a NIV

In this passage we see Jesus as God’s chosen Servant, who does not seek confrontation or ostentation, but acts with humility and compassion to fulfill the Father’s will.

In our society marked by competition and the search for recognition, Jesus’ attitude as a Servant challenges us to follow his example of humility and surrender. He shows us that true leadership is manifested in loving service to others.

Let us pray that, as we reflect on the example of Jesus as a servant, we may also be willing to humbly serve others, always seeking God’s will in our lives.

 

Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank you for being our example of a humble and obedient servant. Help us to follow your example, lovingly serving others and always seeking the will of the Father. May our lives reflect your humility and compassion. Amen

EL SIERVO ESCOGIDO DE DIOS

Mateo 12:14-21

He aquí mi siervo, al cual he escogido; mi Amado, en el cual se agrada mi alma…

Mateo 12: 18a

En este pasaje vemos a Jesús como el Siervo escogido de Dios, quien no busca la confrontación ni la ostentación, sino que actúa con humildad y compasión para cumplir la voluntad del Padre.

En nuestra sociedad marcada por la competencia y la búsqueda de reconocimiento, la actitud de Jesús como Siervo nos desafía a seguir su ejemplo de humildad y entrega. Él nos muestra que el verdadero liderazgo se manifiesta en el servicio amoroso a los demás.

Oremos para que, al reflexionar sobre el ejemplo de Jesús como siervo, podamos también estar dispuestos a servir humildemente a los demás, buscando siempre la voluntad de Dios en nuestras vidas.

 

Oración: Señor Jesús, gracias por ser nuestro ejemplo de siervo humilde y obediente. Ayúdanos a seguir tu ejemplo, sirviendo amorosamente a los demás y buscando siempre la voluntad del Padre. Que nuestras vidas reflejen tu humildad y compasión. Amén.
