YOUR KINGDOM, HERE AND NOW

Mark 1: 15

“The time has come,” he said, “the Kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news.” (NIV)

The Kingdom of God is here; it is in the way we observe the world, in those glasses that we put on and that fill our lives with colors. It is in the greatness and beauty of creation, in our neighbors, in those who give and receive help, in the old woman who saw us on the street and shared a story with us, in the trust of our friends. It is in that “angel” that appeared out of nowhere and made our day better. It is in the rain that cleans and waters the plants. It is in the hearts of good people, in the fragrance that makes you fall in love, in the pleasant conversations, in the sunsets, in the talents, in the look of a child, in the smile of a girl.        

We build the Kingdom of God every day by helping those in need, being grateful for what we have, forgiving, loving. The Kingdom of God is here. It’s you and me, here and now.

 

Prayer: Divinity, forgive the times we have failed. Thank you for the gift of life, for every sunrise, for the dreams we fulfill. May your spirit blow strong in our lives. Amen.

TU REINO, AQUÍ Y AHORA

Marcos 1: 15

Jesús dijo: «El Reino de Dios está cerca, dice el Señor; arrepiéntanse y crean en el Evangelio».

El Reino de Dios está aquí; está en la manera en la que observamos el mundo, en esos lentes que nos ponemos y que nos llenan la vida de colores; está en la grandeza y belleza de la creación, en el prójimo, en quien da y recibe ayuda, en la anciana que nos vio en la calle y nos compartió una historia, en la confianza de nuestros amigos; está en ese “ángel” que apareció de la nada y nos mejoró el día; está en la lluvia que limpia y que riega las plantas; está en el corazón de las buenas personas, en la fragancia que enamora, en las conversaciones amenas, en los atardeceres, en los talentos, en la mirada de un niño, en la sonrisa de una niña.

El Reino de Dios lo construimos cada día ayudando a los necesitados, agradeciendo por lo que tenemos, perdonando, amando. El Reino de Dios está aquí. Somos tú y yo, aquí y ahora.

 

Oración: Divinidad, perdona las veces que hemos fallado. Gracias por el regalo de la vida, por cada amanecer, por los sueños que cumplimos. Que tu espíritu sople fuerte en nuestra vida. Amén.
