Anniversary of the IPR at Los Palos

TO BE IN FREEDOM

Galatians 4: 22-27.31-5,1

Christ gave us freedom so that we may be free. (NIV)

Galatians 5,1a

One of the greatest human desires throughout history has always been the desire and right to be and live in freedom. The harmony of this word, with other words such as dignity, solidarity, otherness, diversity, need, happiness, community and loyalty, has a much deeper meaning than that condition where these words coincide in their two terminal letters.

Freedom is an indispensable condition for a dignified life for every human being. And therefore, it is inherent to the work of God in our lives and to the project of Jesus. From this sense, living in freedom today as a follower of Jesus implies being free for oneself and building freedom for our brothers and sisters. Therefore, living in freedom is being free to:

- Be authentic people.

- Do good at all times and places.

- Love and forgive without conditions.

- Choose what is right.

- Choose paths that bring us closer to Jesus.

-Christ and allow us to walk alongside him.

Prayer: Help us, Lord, to follow the paths of freedom and life that you offer us. Amen.

Aniversario de la IPR de Los Palos

SER EN LIBERTAD

Gálaltas 4: 22-27.31-5,1

Cristo nos dio libertad para que seamos libres.

Gálatas 5,1a

Uno de los mayores anhelos humanos a lo largo de su historia ha sido siempre el deseo y derecho de ser y vivir en libertad. La armonía de este vocablo con otras palabras como dignidad solidaridad, otredad, diversidad, necesidad, felicidad, comunidad y lealtad tiene un sentido mucho más profundo que aquella condición donde estas palabras coinciden en sus dos letras terminales.

La libertad es condición indispensable para la vida digna de todo ser humano, y por tanto, es inherente al obrar de Dios sobre nuestras vidas y al proyecto de Jesús. Desde este sentido, vivir hoy en libertad como seguidora o seguidor de Jesús implica ser libre para uno mismo y construir libertad para nuestros hermanos y hermanas. Por ello vivir en libertad es ser libre para:

-           Ser personas auténticas

-           Hacer bien en todo momento y lugar

-           Amar y perdonar sin condicionamientos

-           Optar por lo que es justo

-           Escoger senderos que nos acercan a Jesucristo y nos permitan caminar junto a Él.

Oración: Ayúdanos Señor a recorrer senderos de libertad y vida que tú nos ofreces. Amén
