THE REVELATION OF GOD’S GREATNESS

Job 42:1-6

I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted.

Job 42:2 (NRSV)

We’re living in times of much struggle and confusion. The circumstances that have touched our lives may seem like the worst possible, but the life of Job and so many other human lives have gone through difficult situations. On waking each day, he was presenteed with two paths. We can trust in the greatness and in the will, sovereignty and mercy of the God of life who has the power to change our lamentations into dancing, our sufferings into joy, or simply to drown ourselves in the daily problems that prevent us from seeing the path to follow to continue surviving with faith and hope.

Let’s take the time to reflect on the greatness of our God, who, despite our circumstances, continues to be All Powerful. Let’s offer our hopes in the assurance that God’s plan for our lives is beautiful and perfect, especially in the most difficult times.

 

Prayer: Lord, thank you for your faithfulness and unconditional love despite our weaknesses and our lack of faith. Give us the strength to continue trusting in you every moment. Amen.

LA REVELACIÓN DE LA GRANDEZA DE DIOS

Job 42:1-6

Yo reconozco que todo lo puedes, y que no hay pensamiento que se esconda de ti.

Job 42:2

Estamos en tiempos de muchas luchas y confusiones. Las circunstancias que nos ha tocado vivir pudieran parecer las peores, pero la vida de Job y las tantas vidas humanas que existen también han pasado por situaciones difíciles. Por ello, cada día al despertar tenemos dos caminos: confiar en la grandeza y en la voluntad, soberanía y misericordia del Dios de la vida, quien tiene poder para cambiar nuestro lamento en danza, nuestros sufrimientos en alegrías; o simplemente, ahogarnos en los problemas diarios que nos impiden ver el camino a seguir para continuar sobreviviendo con fe y esperanza.

Tomemos un tiempo para reflexionar en la grandeza de nuestro Dios, quien a pesar de nuestras circunstancias sigue siendo Todopoderoso. Entreguemos nuestras esperanzas en la confianza de que su plan para nuestras vidas es hermoso y perfecto incluso en los momentos más difíciles.

 

Oración: Señor, gracias por tu fidelidad y amor incondicional a pesar de nuestras debilidades y nuestra falta de fe. Danos fortaleza para seguir confiando en ti en todo momento. Amén.
