LIVE ACCORDING TO FAITH

GALATIANS 3: 7-14

Understand, then, that those who have faith are children of Abraham. (NIV)

Galatians 3:7

In one of the letters Paul sends to the Galatians, he expresses that Christians are those who live according to faith and not according to the law; and in this way he establishes a comparison between the law and faith in the times of Abraham.

How can we live according to faith today in Cuba? These are difficult times, and many times we believe that God has abandoned us. But we can look at our daily life with another lens. We can enjoy the privilege of being alive, enjoying creation, a helping hand, a sincere friend.

We hear many times: “God squeezes but does not strangle.” Let us feel the company of the Holy Spirit at all times; let us feel that we are not alone. Let us trust in the good that we have and in what is to come. Let us not lose faith; let us not lose hope. Let us live with and in faith.

Prayer: Divinity, give me breath of peace and love. Give me strength when I feel that I have nothing left. Allow me to help others from humility, do not allow bread to be missing from our table. I trust in you. Amen.

VIVIR SEGÚN LA FE

Gálatas 3: 7-14

Hermanos: Entiendan que los hijos de Abraham son aquellos que viven según la fe.

Gálatas 3:7

En una de las cartas que Pablo envía a los gálatas expresa que, los cristianos son quienes viven según la fe y no según la ley, y de esta manera establece una comparación entre la ley y la fe en los tiempos de Abraham.

¿Cómo podemos vivir según la fe hoy día en Cuba? Son tiempos difíciles y muchas veces creemos que Dios nos ha abandonado, pero podemos mirar con otro lente nuestro día a día, podemos gozarnos del privilegio de estar vivos, disfrutar de la Creación, de una mano solidaria, de un amigo sincero.

Muchas veces escuchamos: “Dios aprieta, pero no ahorca”. Sintamos la compañía del Espíritu Santo en todo momento, sintamos que no estamos solos/as. Confiemos en lo bueno que tenemos y en lo que está por llegar. No perdamos la fe, no perdamos la esperanza. Vivamos con y en fe.

Oración: Divinidad, dame aliento de paz y amor, dame fuerzas cuando sienta ya no tener más; permite que pueda ayudar a otros/as desde la humildad¸ no permitas que en nuestra mesa falte el pan. En ti confío. Amén.
