Multiplying his work

Acts 5:12-16

Nevertheless, more and more men and women believed in the Lord and were added to their number.

As Christians we have various missions, one of them being to evangelize; to carry the Word of God to others. From the time of the first disciples to the present day, more and more people are opening their hearts to the Lord and believing in Him. It is thanks to the proclamation of His works that something so wonderful happens! We don’t necessarily have to have studied theology for this purpose; our testimony is enough for other people to know God. In these times that we’re living, in the midst of shortages and needs, we find in God our sustenance and his word is the light for the decisions we make. Now let us be the light in someone else’s life. Let us not be ashamed, nor believe that we are not capable. The more we do it, the more good we will do for those around us.

Prayer: God, we give you thanks for giving us words of encouragement in our torment; we ask you to give us the words to evangelize and to make others believe in you. In the name of your son, Jesus. Amen.

Multiplicando su obra.

Hechos 5:12-16

Y los que creían en el Señor aumentaban más, gran número así de hombres como de mujeres

Hechos 5:14

Como cristianos y cristianas tenemos varias misiones, una de ellas es evangelizar; llevar la Palabra de Dios a otras personas. Desde los tiempos de los primeros discípulos hasta los actuales cada vez son más quienes abren su corazón al Señor y creen en Él ¡Es gracias a la proclamación de su obra, que algo tan maravilloso ocurra! No tenemos que necesariamente tener estudios de teología para este fin; basta con nuestro testimonio para que otras personas conozcan a Dios. En los tiempos que vivimos en medio de carencias y necesidades encontramos en Dios nuestro sustento y su palabra es luz para las decisiones que tomamos. Ahora seamos nosotros luz en la vida de alguien más. No nos avergoncemos, ni creamos que no somos capaces, mientras más lo hagamos, mayor bien le haremos a quienes están cerca nuestro.

Oración: Dios, te damos gracias por darnos palabras de aliento en nuestro tormento;  te pedimos que pongas en nuestra boca palabras para evangelizar y hacer que otros crean en ti. En el nombre de tu hijo Jesús, amén
