Peace Be with You
Luke 24 : 35-45
While they were still talking about this, Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.”
Luke 24: 36 (NIV)
“Peace be with you.” This was a common greeting among the Jews. These words contain a profound meaning. With the word peace Jesus refers to the spiritual peace He had previously promised them.
Jesus did not rebuke his disciples for abandoning them. Instead, he greeted them as his friends and brothers, did so without rancor, and forgave them.
Peace means rest, repose, goodness, and tranquility. But the peace of God is much more than these everyday words.
To be in God’s peace is to feel his divine presence in our lives, just as his disciples experienced it.
The peace of God is to fill us abundantly with His grace and the Holy Spirit. When God’s peace comes into our lives, everything is renewed, something beautiful and difficult to explain happens, it is joy, and it is fullness.
Our Lord is not a god of confusion but of peace, let us make peace with one another and the God of peace and love will give us joy, patience and mercy.
Prayer: We pray to you, Lord, for peace in the midst of the storm. Amen.

La Paz Este Contigo.
Lucas 24 : 35-45
Paz a vosotros.
Lucas 24: 36
“Paz a vosotros.”
Paz significa descanso, reposo, bondad, sosiego.
