FEAR  BRINGS FEAR THAT BRINGS FEAR THAT BRINGS FEAR

Luke 12: 1-7

... Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

What fears do you feel today?  What fears silence your voice, paralyze your walk, darken your day?

The idea that to follow Jesus is to go in pursuit of love, in search of freedom, is true in every time and place, but it is not a romanticized idea, it contains ethical implications, costs that generate fears and fears for the disciples, for those who followed him yesterday, for those of us who follow him today.

On this day let us seek answers to the questions that began this reflection. Let us not be afraid to recognize our fears, to admit them, to become aware of them in order to overcome them; it depends on this that we keep the courage to remain on the path of Jesus. Yesterday and today, in the face of the fear that silences our voices and domestic, in the face of the fear that paralyzes our march and darkens our life; we find Jesus who tells us: Do not be afraid!

For each of our fears we find Jesus who calls us friends, who walks with us, who alerts us, who teaches us. Let us live with this certainty.

 

Prayer: Thank you Lord for making yourself present in our lives and for the strength and courage you give us. Amen

MIEDO QUE DA MIEDO DEL MIEDO QUE DA

Lucas 12: 1-7

... No temáis, pues; más valéis vosotros que muchos pajarillos.

Lucas 12:7 b

i,Qué miedos sientes hoy? i Qué miedos silencian tu voz, paralizan tu andar, ensombrecen tu dia?

La idea de que seguir a Jesús es ir en pos del amor, en busca de libertad, es verdadera en todo tiempo y lugar, pero no es una idea romantizada, contiene implicaciones éticas, costos que generan miedos y temores para las discipulas y discipulos, para quienes les siguieron ayer, para quienes le seguimos hoy.

En este dia busquemos respuestas a las interrogantes que inician esta reflexión. No tengamos miedo de reconocer nuestros miedos, admitirlos, hacernos conscientes para superarlos, de ello depende que conservemos la osadia de permanecer en el camino de Jesús. Ayer y hoy, frente al temor que silencia nuestras voces y doméstica, frente al miedo que paraliza nuestra marcha y oscurece nuestra vida; encontramos a Jesús que nos dice: ¡No temas!

Por cada uno de nuestros miedos encontramos a Jesús que nos llama amigas y amigos, que camina con nosotros, nos alerta, nos enseña. Vivamos con esta certeza.

 

Oración: Gracias Señor por hacerte presente en nuestras vidas y por la fortaleza y el valor que nos infundes. Amén
