DO WE DO WHAT JESUS TELLS US?
John 2:1-11
His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”
John 2:5
Today’s text, known as “the wedding at Cana,” shows us Jesus responding to his mother’s petition that he show all of his power in the face of the needs of others. He questioned the request because he felt it was not yet his time to act. Nevertheless, he acceded and performed a miracle. The one in charge of the banquet gave testimony that the wine offered was of the best quality. Thus his glory was revealed and his disciples believed in him.
When we were children, we were guided step by step; on every occasion they taught us to obey. During our lives, we have moments when we are not sure what to do; even though we remember advice or receive new advice, we don’t always follow it. Even having the experience or the gifts, at times we don’t dare to act, thinking that we are still not prepared or it is not the right time to help, guide or do big things.
Jesus orders us, and, from the beginning he has demonstrated that if we obey the teachings of the Teacher, we will be capable of doing miracles that glorify the Lord and give testimony so others will believe.
Prayer: Teacher, let your teachings and your voice guide us in building your Kingdom. Amen.

¿HACEMOS LO QUE JESUS NOS DICE?
Juan 2: 1-11
