·          This is love; it is not that we loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son….

·          The Father himself loves you, because you have loved me and believed that I came from God.

·          We have known and have believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and those who remain in love remain in God and God remains in them.

·          Then the world will know that you sent me and that you have loved them just as you loved me.

Prayer: In every moment, Lord, we feel your love, this love that the world does not understand. We give you unending thanks for loving us first, and for loving us in this way.  Amen.
