RETURN TO BE CHILDLIKE

Matthew 19:13-15

 Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

There is nothing purer and more good in the world than a child. Evil does not exist in them; they are capable of forgiving without hesitation and sharing what they have. That’s why Jesus says, theirs is the kingdom of heaven. We were all children once, where the world could be conquered with a mere thought, where our imagination was our greatest treasure. Over time, we became adults, gained responsibilities and roles to fulfill. And at some point, we banished that childish part to a deep place within us. But God asks us to reconcile with that part. We must be loyal, sincere, and above all, love. Jesus said: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Children love unconditionally; they don’t believe in economic, racial, or ethnic barriers; they have no prejudices. So let us be like children and learn to love.

Prayer: Lord, allow us to be children again, so that we may come to you with everything we have in our hearts to give. Amen.

“VOLVER A SER COMO NIÑOS”

Mateo 19:13-15

“Pero Jesús dijo: Dejad a los niños venir a mí, no se lo impidáis; porque de los tales es el reino de los cielos”

Mateo19:14

No hay nada más puro y bueno en el mundo que un niño, en ellos no existe la maldad, son capaces de perdonar sin dudar y de compartir lo que tienen. Por eso Jesús lo dice, de ellos es el reino de los cielos. Todos fuimos niños, niñas un día, donde se podía conquistar el mundo con solo pensarlo donde nuestra imaginación era nuestro mayor tesoro. Con el tiempo nos volvimos adultos, ganamos responsabilidades y roles que cumplir y en algún momento desterramos esa parte infantil a un lugar muy profundo dentro nuestro. Pero Dios nos pide que nos reconciliemos con esa parte, debemos de ser leales, sinceros y ante todo amar. Jesús lo decía: “ama a tu prójimo como a ti mismo”, los niños aman incondicionalmente, ellos no creen en barreras económicas, raciales o étnicas; no tiene prejuicios. Así que seamos como los niños y aprendamos de amar.

Oración: Señor, permítenos ser niños y niñas otra vez, para poder ir a ti con todo lo que tenemos en nuestro corazón para dar. Amén.
