 OUR FAITH MOVES  MOUNTAINS

Matthew 17: 14-20

He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

How many limitations, shortcomings, illnesses, and feelings of defeat overwhelm us on many occasions? How many times do we ask ourselves daily, “How long, Lord? How far will we go?” And that’s where this valuable message comes into play: Nothing is impossible for us when we have faith.

We cannot affirm that when our faith is solid, all our desires will be fulfilled. Our faith is not a magic wand that grants wishes. Our faith is the certainty that God is, is present, and never lets go of our hand. Therefore, we can assure ourselves that everything works for the best, even when our plans don’t coincide with God’s. So, let us come with faith. Let us allow our good God to work in our lives. Let us follow his path with hope. Let us place all our dreams and desires before him with confidence. He will surely hear us and do what he believes is best for our personal and community well-being.

Prayer: Loving God, allow our faith to grow stronger every day and never stray from your ways. Amen.

 NUESTRA FE MUEVE MONTAÑAS

Mateo 17: 14-20

“Díceles: Porque ustedes tienen muy poca fe. De cierto les digo, que si tuvieran fe como un grano de mostaza, le dirían a este monte: Quítate de allí y vete a otro lugar, y el monte les obedecería. ¡Nada sería imposible para ustedes!”

¿Cuántas limitaciones, carencias, enfermedades y sentimientos de derrota nos inundan en muchas ocasiones? Cuántas veces nos preguntamos a diario: ¿hasta cuándo Señor? ¿Hasta dónde vamos a llegar? Y ahí entra a jugar su papel, este valioso mensaje: Nada es imposible para nosotros cuando tenemos fe.

No podemos afirmar que cuando nuestra fe es sólida, se cumplen todos nuestros deseos. Nuestra fe no es una varita mágica que cumple deseos. Nuestra fe es la certeza de que Dios es, está y nunca nos suelta de la mano. Por eso, sí podemos asegurar que todo obra para bien, aun cuando nuestros planes no coinciden con los de Dios. Así que vengamos con fe. Permitamos que nuestro buen Dios obre en nuestras vidas. Sigamos su camino con esperanza. Pongamos delante de Él todos nuestros sueños y anhelos con confianza. Seguro nos escuchará y hará lo que crea mejor para nuestro bienestar personal y comunitario.

Oración: Amado Dios, permite que nuestra fe se fortalezca cada día más y nunca nos apartemos de tus caminos. Amén.
