SEA OF HOPE

Psalm 65: 1-3, 5 y 8

When you send your Spirit, they are created, and you renew the face of the ground.

Psalm 104:30 (NIV)

This psalm is a song of gratitude that reveals God’s merciful and powerful heart. It begins with a fundamental truth: God deserves our praise not only for what he does, but for his infinite love. He is the God who listens, attentive to the cry of every human being without distinction. But what is most moving is his response to our insecurities and infidelities: when the weight of our faults crushes us, he forgives us. He doesn’t wait for us to be perfect, but acts with tenderness, like a father or mother who lifts up and restores their child. The psalmist continues, inviting us to discover the justice of our God, reminding us that it is not cold, but is manifested in amazing works, from the forgiveness that renews the soul to the wonders in creation that sustain life. Let us celebrate that God is a sea of hope, inspiring joy that transcends time and space!

Prayer: My God, you hear my voice in the night and forgive me at dawn; teach me to trust like a child in your works of mercy. Amen.

MAR DE ESPERANZA

Salmo 65: 1-3, 5 y 8

“pero envías tu espíritu y todo en la tierra cobra nueva vida”

Salmo 104:30

Este salmo es un canto de gratitud que revela el corazón misericordioso y poderoso de Dios. Comienza con una verdad fundamental: Dios merece nuestra alabanza no solo por lo que hace, sino por su amor infinito. Él es el Dios que escucha, atento al clamor de todo ser humano sin distinción. Pero lo más conmovedor es su respuesta ante nuestras inseguridades e infidelidades: cuando el peso de nuestras faltas nos aplasta, Él nos perdona, no espera a que seamos perfectos, actúa con ternura, como un padre o una madre que levanta y restaura a su hijo/a. El salmista continúa invitándonos a descubrir la justicia de nuestro Dios recordándonos que no es fría, sino que se manifiesta en asombrosas obras, desde el perdón que renueva el alma hasta los prodigios en la creación que sostienen la vida. ¡Celebremos que Dios sea mar de la esperanza, inspirando la alegría que trasciende tiempo y espacio!

Oración: Dios mío, tú que escuchas mi voz en la noche y me perdonas al amanecer, enséñame a confiar como un niño en tus obras de misericordia. Amén.
