OUR STRENGTH

Judges 6: 11-24

The Lord’s messenger appeared to him and said, “The Lord is with you, mighty warrior!”

Our strength comes from the Lord, even though at times we get frustrated and we minimize ourselves.  God always knows each one of our abilities and gifts, God knows all that we are capable of and puts tests before us, showing us that we can do great things, and that in the humility of life the great values and achievements will be found.

In order to save Israel from the Midianites, God chose Gideon, the youngest in his home and coming from the poorest family in the tribe of Manasseh. In the same way, God has chosen us every day to win every battle like the most brave.  God gives us God’s power, love, knowledge and strength.  Let us trust in God, the Lord is with us all. 

Prayer: Thank you Divine One, for another dawn, for another day in which we feel your power and your glory.  Thank you for the strength you have given me to continue forward. Free me from all evil.  Amen.

NUESTRA FORTALEZA

Jueces 6: 11-24ª

“Cuando el ángel del Señor apareció ante Gedeón, dijo:—¡El Señor está contigo, valiente guerrero!”

Jueces 6:12

Nuestra fortaleza viene del Señor, aunque a veces nos frustremos y nos minimicemos, Dios siempre conoce cada una de nuestras habilidades y dones, Él sabe de todo lo que somos capaces de hacer, nos pone a pruebas y nos demuestra que podemos hacer grandes cosas, que en la humildad de la vida se hallan los grandes valores y hazañas.

Así como Dios eligió a Gedeón, el más joven de su casa y proveniente de la familia más pobre de la tribu de Manasés, para salvar a Israel de los madianitas, así nos elige Nuestro Padre cada día para vencer cada batalla como el más valiente. Dios nos da su poder, su amor, su sabiduría y su fortaleza. Confiemos en Él, el Señor está con nosotras y nosotros.

Oración: Gracias, Divinidad, por otro amanecer, por otro día en el que sentimos tu poder y tu gloria. Gracias por la fuerza que me provees para seguir adelante. Líbrame de todo mal. Amén.
