Mothers Day

MOM'S LOVE

Proverbs 6:20

Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.

Exodus 20:12 (NRSV)

· Someone once said that a child is carried in the womb for nine months. That someone doesn’t know that a child is carried in the heart for a lifetime.

· Someone said that it takes six months to return to normal. That someone doesn’t know that after child birth there is no normal.

· Someone said that one learns to be a mother by instinct. That someone never went shopping with a three year old.

· Someone said that good mothers never shout. That someone never watched her child throw a stone through a neighbor’s window.

· Someone said that an education is not necessary to be a mother. That someone never helped a fourth grader with math homework.

· Someone said that it’s possible to find the answers in books to all the questions about how to raise a child. That someone never had a child who put a bean in his nose.

· Someone said that the most difficult thing about being a mother is childbirth. That someone never left a child at its first day of school.

· Someone said that a mother can do her job with her eyes closed and one hand tied behind her back. That someone mever organized a birthday party for her daughter.

· Someone said that a mother can stop worrying when her children are asleep. That someone doesn’t know that marriage adds sons-in-law and daughters-in-law to a mother’s heart.

· Someone said that a mother’s work is done when the last child leavcs home. That someone doesn’t have grandchildren.

· Someone said that a mother knows that her son loves here, and that there is no need for him to tell her that. That someone is not a mother.

EL AMOR DE MAMÁ

Honra a tu padre y a tu madre, para que tus días se alarguen en la tierra que Jehová tu Dios te da

Éxodo 20:12

· Alguien dijo que un niño se lleva en el vientre durante nueve meses. Ese alguien no sabe que un hijo se lleva en el corazón toda la vida

· Alguien dijo que se toma unas seis semanas volver a la normalidad después de dar a luz. Ese alguien no sabe que después de dar a luz la normalidad no existe

· Alguien dijo que se aprende a ser madre por instinto. Ese alguien nunca fue de compras con un niño de tres años

· Alguien dijo que las buenas madres nunca gritan. Ese alguien nunca vio a su hijo romper con una pelota la ventana del vecino

· Alguien dijo que no se necesita educación para ser madre. Ese alguien nunca ayudó con una tarea de matemáticas de cuarto grado.

· Alguien dijo que se pueden encontrar en los libros las respuestas a todas las preguntas sobre cómo criar a los hijos. Ese alguien no tuvo un hijo que se metió un frijol en la nariz

· Alguien dijo que lo más difícil de ser madre es el parto. Ese alguien nunca dejó a su hijo en la escuela en su primer día

· Alguien dijo que una madre puede hacer su labor con los ojos cerrados y una mano atada en la espalda. Ese alguien nunca organizó la fiesta de cumpleaños de su hija.

· Alguien dijo que una madre puede dejar de preocuparse cuando los hijos se casan. Ese alguien no sabe que el matrimonio agrega yernos y nueras al corazón de una madre.

· Alguien dijo que el trabajo de una madre termina cuando el ultimo hijo se va del hogar. Ese alguien no tiene nietos

· Alguien dijo que una madre sabe que su hijo la ama, así que no hay necesidad de decírselo. Ese alguien no es una madre
