LET US LIVE GIVING WITNESS OF UNITY AND LOVE

Luke 11: 14 - 23

Whoever is not with me is against me…

Luke 11: 23ª (NIV)

 

Jesus performs a miracle by freeing a mute man from an evil spirit, which provokes diverse reactions among the crowd. Some praise him, while others criticize him and question his authority. This reminds us that unity is not just an ideal, but a fundamental necessity for the body of Christ.

If we are called to be one with Him, we must cultivate relationships based on love, respect and mutual understanding. As we are united with Him, we are transformed and enabled to love and serve others. Unity in Christ impels us to live according to His teachings and to reflect His character in our daily interactions. When we stay close to Jesus, his love flows through us, strengthening our relationships with our sisters and brothers. It is vital to remember that we are called to build bridges, not walls, and to seek understanding, not division. Our witness about unity must extend beyond the walls of the church into the community.

Prayer: Dear God, we give you thanks for the gift of unity that we find in you. Amen.

VIVAMOS DANDO TESTIMONIO DE UNIDAD Y AMOR

Lucas 11: 14 - 23

El que no está conmigo está contra mí

Lucas 11: 23a

Jesús realiza un milagro al liberar a un hombre mudo de un espíritu maligno, lo que provoca diversas reacciones entre la multitud. Algunos lo alaban, mientras que otros lo critican y cuestionan su autoridad. Esto  nos recuerda que la unidad no es solo un ideal, sino una necesidad fundamental para el cuerpo de Cristo.

Si estamos llamados a ser uno en Él, debemos cultivar relaciones basadas en el amor, el respeto y la comprensión mutua. Al estar unidos a Él, somos transformados y capacitados para amar y servir a los demás. La unidad en Cristo nos impulsa a vivir de acuerdo con sus enseñanzas y a reflejar su carácter en nuestras interacciones diarias. Cuando nos mantenemos cerca de Jesús, su amor fluye a través de nosotros/as, fortaleciendo nuestras relaciones con nuestros hermanos y hermanas. Es vital recordar que estamos llamados a construir puentes y no muros, a buscar el entendimiento y no la división. Nuestro testimonio de unidad debe extenderse más allá de las paredes de la iglesia hacia la comunidad.

Oración: Amado Dios, te damos gracias por el regalo de la unidad que encontramos en ti. Amén.
