SUBLIME LOVE

Matthew 5. 43-48

But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.  .

Matthew 5.44 (NIV)

There is a love that goes beyond human expectations; it is the very love Jesus teaches us. Jesus calls us to love and pray for those who have hurt us, for those who do not even want our good. This is not simple; we must put everything out from within our hearts in order to comply. To love is to love, it is self-explanatory; love is unconditional; it is not about reciprocity, but about LOVE, the very essence of God. In a world where revenge and resentment may seem natural, Jesus invites us to be different. He reminds us that it is not just about loving those who love us and give everything for our well-being, but about Loving, about living it, therein lies the divine invitation.

Prayer: Lord, help us to love unconditionally, to pray for those who persecute us in some way. We want to reflect your face in our most sublime action, in loving.Amen

Sublime amor

Mateo 5. 43-48

Pero yo os digo: Amad a vuestros enemigos, bendecid a los que os maldicen, haced bien a los que os aborrecen, y orad por los que os ultrajan y os persiguen;

Hay un amor que va más allá de las expectativas humanas, es el amor mismo el cual Jesús nos enseña. Jesús nos llama a amar y a orar por quienes nos han lastimado, a quienes incluso no quieren nuestro bien. Esto no es sencillo, hay que poner todo desde adentro de nuestro corazón. Amar es amar, se explica asi mismo, el amor es incondicional, no se trata de reciprocidad, sino de AMOR, la misma esencia de Dios. En un mundo donde la venganza y los resentimientos pueden parecer naturales, Jesús nos invita a ser diferentes. Nos recuerda que no se trata de solo amar a quienes nos aman y lo dan todo por nuestro bienestar. Sino de Amar, de vivirlo, ahí está la invitación divina.

Oración: Señor, ayúdanos a amar sin condiciones, a orar por quienes nos persiguen de alguna manera, queremos reflejar tu rostro en nuestra acción más sublime, en amar.
