RECOGNIZE THE SHEPHERD’S VOICE

John 10

My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.

John 10:27 (NIV)

Amidst the constant noise of life, the worries that assail us, and the voices that confuse us, we sometimes struggle to discern the right path.

Jesus, in his infinite wisdom and love, presents himself as the Good Shepherd, one who knows each of his sheep by name and cares for their well-being.

The fundamental key revealed by today’s verse is that we must listen attentively and receptively to recognize his voice; and we can only achieve this through prayer, reading the Scriptures, and reflection.

Following Jesus is not an easy or obstacle-free path. It involves challenges, sacrifices, and renunciations. But his promise is that if we follow him, we will never be alone he will always be at our side, protecting us and giving us strength to overcome any adversity.

Prayer: Loving God, I ask you to open my ears so that I may hear your voice amidst the noise of the world. Help me discern your will for my life, to follow you with fidelity and love. Amen.

Reconocer la voz del Pastor

Juan 10

"Las que son mis ovejas, oyen mi voz; y yo las conozco, y ellas me siguen"

Juan 10:27

En medio del ruido constante de la vida, de las preocupaciones que nos asaltan y de las voces que nos confunden, a veces nos cuesta discernir el camino correcto.

Jesús, en su infinita sabiduría y amor, se presenta como el Buen Pastor, uno que conoce a cada una de sus ovejas por nombre y que se preocupa por su bienestar.

La clave fundamental que nos revela el versículo de hoy, es que debemos escuchar de forma atenta y receptiva, para reconocer su voz, y eso sólo lo logramos a través de la oración, la lectura de las Escrituras y la reflexión.

Seguir a Jesús no es un camino fácil y sin obstáculos. Implica desafíos, sacrificios y renuncias. Pero su promesa es que si le seguimos, nunca estaremos solos o solas, siempre estará a nuestro lado, protegiéndonos y dándonos fuerzas para superar cualquier adversidad.

Oración: Dios amado, te pido que abras mis oídos para poder escuchar tu voz en medio del ruido del mundo. Ayúdame a discernir tu voluntad para mi vida, a seguirte con fidelidad y amor. Amén.
