Victory Is in Faith

John 3:16-21

Whoever does the truth comes to the light so that it can be seen that their actions were done in God.

John 3:21

God decided to save humanity through love.  It was God’s decision.  God knew that without intervention in the history of humanity with the redeeming cross, creation would be a complete disaster.  God loved the world, not only one nation, not only one group of people.  God sent his Son to save the world, not to condemn it; we are the ones who choose the path we want to take. Those who believe live in eternal love and hope, they feel peace and strength.   To have God in our lives is to live a life that anticipates heaven.  When we contemplate the flowers, trees, stars and all the beauty of the firmament, we think we are in a haven of peace, thus it is for all humans who are in the presence of God and know the power of the Lord’s forgiveness.  What overcomes evil in the world is faith.  “Faith is born when one begins to despair of oneself and to see that one must trust only in God.” (John Knox) The one who practices the truth comes to the light so his works will be visible as acts in God.  We believe in God without limits.  God promises that if we have faith we will be saved. 

Let us pray: We know God, that we only find victory in faith, through the love of your creation you have given salvation if we believe in you. Keep our hope intact. Amen.

La victoria está en la fe

Juan 3:16-21

En cambio, el que práctica la verdad se acerca a la luz, para que se vea claramente que ha hecho sus obras en obediencia a Dios

Dios decidió por amor salvar a la humanidad, fue su decisión, sabía que, si Él no intervenía en la historia de la humanidad con la cruz redentora, la creación sería un completo fracaso. Dios amó al mundo, no solo a una nación, no solo a un grupo de personas. Dios envió a su Hijo para salvar al mundo, no para condenarle, nosotros somos los que elegimos el camino que queremos transitar. Los que creen viven en amor eterno, viven en esperanza, sienten paz y fortaleza. Tener a Dios en nuestras vidas es vivir de una manera anticipada al cielo. Cuando contemplamos, las flores, los árboles, las estrellas y toda la hermosura del firmamento pensamos que estamos en un remanso de paz, así sucede a todo humano cuando está en la presencia de Dios y sabe el poder del perdón del Señor. Lo que vence al mal, al mundo, es la fe. “La fe nace cuando uno comienza a desesperarse de sí mismo y a mirar que tiene que confiar en Dios solamente.” (John Knox). El que practica la verdad viene a la luz, para que sea manifiesto que sus obras son hechas en Dios. Creamos en Él sin límites, Él prometió que si tenemos fe seremos salvos.

Oremos: Sabemos Dios que solo encontramos la victoria en la fe, por amor a tu creación nos has regalado la salvación si creemos en ti; mantén intacta nuestra esperanza. Amén.
