JESUS PROVIDES OUR NECESSITIES

Luke 9:11-17

He took the five loaves and the two fish, looked up to heaven, blessed them, and broke them and gave them to the disciples to set before the crowd.

Jesus tried to go without being seen, but they soon discovered where he was and followed him. Instead of being bothered by this interruption, Jesus receives them and meets their needs. How do you see the people who interrupt your plans?

The Kingdom of God was a focal point in the teaching of Jesus. He explained that it was not only a future kingdom; it was among them, materialized in Him, the Messiah. The Kingdom of God begins in the hearts of those who believe in Jesus. When the disciples expressed their concern about where the crowd of thousands were going to eat, Jesus offered a solution: “You all give them something to eat.” They protested, focusing their attention on what they did not have (food and money). Do you believe God would ask you to do something that you and God could not do together?

He could easily have asked them to leave. But Jesus does not overlook needs. He is interested in every aspect of your life, physical as well as spiritual.

Prayer: Loving Father, supply all of our needs, spiritual as well as material, in the name of Jesus, Amen.

JESUS SUPLE NUESTRAS NECESIDADES

Lucas 9:11-17

Luego Jesús tomó en sus manos los cinco panes y los dos pescados y , mirando al cielo, pronunció sobre ellos la bendición, los partió y se los dio a sus discípulos para que los repartieran entre la gente.

Jesús trató de pasar inadvertido, pero pronto descubrieron dónde estaba y lo siguieron. En lugar de molestarse por esta interrupción, Jesús les recibió y suplió sus necesidades. ¿Cómo ve a quienes le interrumpen sus planes?

El Reino de Dios fue un punto focal en la enseñanza de Jesús. Explicó que no era solo un reino futuro; estaba entre ellos, materializado en El, el Mesías. El Reino de Dios empieza en los corazones de los que creen en Jesús. Cuando los discípulos expresaron su preocupación por dónde la multitud de miles iba a comer, Jesús ofreció una solución: "Denles ustedes de comer". Ellos protestaron, enfocando su atención en lo que no tenían (alimentos y dinero). ¿Cree que Dios le pediría que hiciera algo que usted y El no pudieran juntos realizar?

Fácilmente pudo pedir que se fueran. Pero Jesús no pasa por alto las necesidades. Le interesa cada aspecto de nuestra vida, tanto físico como espiritual.

Oración: Padre amado, suple todas nuestras necesidades tanto espirituales como materiales, en el nombre de Jesús. Amén.
