THE GOOD NEWS

Luke 10 : 1-9

When you enter a house, first say, ‘Peace to this house.’

The number of inhabitants on the planet continues to grow; the environment continues to deteriorate, and wars generate emigration, violence, poverty, and injustice. In this way, hopelessness and discouragement continue to grow and become daily news.

The text places us before today’s world, where many people await our greeting of peace. It is not difficult to have a cup of coffee, share what we have with our neighbors, and extend the conversation, moved by Jesus’ Word of comfort, love, boundless forgiveness, and reconciliation. It can be the best healing for troubled spirits.

These words and actions of love may awaken great curiosity in many, and some doubt in others, but let us leave God to those who are not yet ready to receive us. Let us proclaim to all the Kingdom of God, the place where we carry out his good will, within everyone’s reach.

Prayer: Lord, grant me the desire to go forth and proclaim your word and bring a message of hope to all those who need our word of peace. Amen.

La Buena Noticia.

Lucas 10 : 1-9

En cualquier casa donde entréis, primeramente, decid: Paz sea a esta casa.

Lucas10:5

El número de habitantes sigue creciendo en el planeta, el medio ambiente deteriorándose, guerras que generan emigración, violencia, pobrezas e injusticias: De esta manera sigue creciendo la desesperanza y el desaliento y se convierte en noticia cotidiana.

El texto nos coloca frente al mundo de hoy donde muchas personas esperan nuestro saludo de paz. No es difícil tomarnos una taza de café, compartir con los vecinos lo que tengamos. Extender la conversación movidos por la Palabra de Jesús de consuelo, de amor, perdón sin límites y reconciliación.  Puede ser la mejor sanación para los espíritus turbados.

Estas palabras y acciones de amor pueden despertar gran curiosidad en muchos, y alguna duda en otros, pero dejemos a Dios con aquellos que de momento no están preparados para recibirnos. Anunciemos a todos el Reino de Dios, el lugar donde hagamos cumplir su buena voluntad, está al alcance de todos.

Oración: Señor, pon el mí el deseo de ir anunciar tu Palabra y llevar un mensaje de esperanza para todos aquellos que necesitan nuestra palabra de paz. Amén.
