For a Different Future

Matthew 11:29

Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

How to be humble of heart? What a complex question to answer sometimes. We are all humble of heart in our own ways and manners, but we should always keep in mind that humility is born from a base of respect. We must respect others even if we often do not share opinions. We should understand that we do not all share the same life experiences. We are different in many ways, but we are united by our faith in Christ, being the Church, the hope of a transformed world, a kinder and more loving world. For we all want our actions to contribute to this renewed and more hopeful future. 

Prayer: Lord, we trust in you, and we believe that you make changes possible. We know that you make us better people, that you make us capable of understanding each other and of spreading your message of love and hope. Help us to grow and become what you expect of us.

Por un futuro diferente

Mateo 11.29

Y aprended de mí, que soy manso y humilde de corazón; y hallaréis descanso para vuestras almas.

 

¿Como ser humilde de corazón? Que pregunta esa más compleja de responder a veces. Todos y todas somos humildes de corazón a nuestras formas y maneras, pero, teniendo siempre en cuenta que la humildad nace de una base de respeto. Tenemos que respetar a los demás aunque muchas veces no compartamos opiniones, hay que entender que no todos compartimos las mismas experiencias de vida; somos diferentes de muchas maneras, pero nos une nuestra fe en Cristo, ser Iglesia, la esperanza de un mundo transformado, un mundo más bondadoso y lleno de amor. Pues todos y todas queremos que nuestras acciones contribuyan a este futuro renovado y más esperanzador.

Oración: Señor confiamos en ti, y creemos que tú haces posibles los cambios. Sabemos que nos haces ser mejores personas, nos haces capaces de entendernos unos a otros y de poder transmitir tu mensaje de amor y esperanza. Ayúdanos a crecer y llegar a ser aquello que tu esperas de nosotros y nosotras.
