THANKSGIVING FOR THE SALVATION RECEIVED FROM JEHOVAH.

Psalm 118: 1-29

The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?

Psaalm 118:6 (NIV)

Sometimes our spirits are crushed by so many economic problems, family conflicts, and climate changes that hope disappears on the horizon. We hear a constant cry, that if we do not have electricity, if we do not have rice,  we will return to difficult times. All this may be true, but we have an almighty and merciful God to trust in.

The Psalms invite us to trust in God, to live without fear, because in the midst of the worst hardships, God does not abandon us. Let us trust in the Lord. Let us live without fear; let us live joyfully, strengthened in our Heavenly Father, illuminated by his love, by his help, by his companionship that instills courage and allows us to face all the difficulties that come our way with the optimistic certainty that with God we will emerge victorious.

Prayer: Allow us, Lord, to learn to trust in you and to rest in the strength you give us, to sing joyful songs of thanksgiving because you are good and your mercy is forever. Amen.

Acción de gracias por la salvación recibida de Jehová.

Salmo 118: 1-29

Jehová está conmigo. No temeré lo que me pueda hacer el hombre.

Salmo 118:6.

A veces nuestro ánimo se derrumba con tantos problemas económicos, conflictos familiares,  los cambios climáticos,  y la esperanza se nos pierde en el horizonte. Escuchamos un clamor constante que si no tenemos corriente, si nos falta el arroz, si volvemos a tiempos difíciles. Todo esto puede ser verdad pero tenemos un Dios Todo poderoso y misericordioso en quien confiar.

Los Salmos nos invitan a confiar en Dios, a vivir sin temor, porque en medio de las más duras penas, Dios no nos abandona. Confiemos en el Señor. Vivamos sin temor vivamos jubilosos, fortalecidos en nuestro Padre Celestial, iluminados por su amor,  por su ayuda, por su compañía que nos infunde valor y nos permite enfrentar todas las dificultades que se nos presentan, con optimista seguridad de  que con Dios saldremos victoriosos.    

Oración: Permítenos, Señor que aprendamos a confiar en ti, y descansar en la fuerza que nos das, a entonar jubilosos canticos de agradecimiento porque tú eres bueno y para siempre es tu misericordia. Amén
