Do Not Judge Others

Luke 6:39-42

“Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?

Luke 6:41 (NIV)

People do not criticize, they describe themselves, and today Jesus invites us to reflect on our attitudes and judgments toward others, because it is easy to fall into the temptation of harsh judgment. However, Jesus calls us first to correct our own faults before pointing out those of others. Criticizing, judging, and suspecting does not make us better; it is an attitude that speaks more about us than about others. We must be examples of consistency in our lives so as not to become victimizers. Honest self-evaluation is key to our spiritual and personal growth, remembering that we are all in a learning process. Our judgment must align with who we truly are. If Jesus does not judge us, neither should we judge others.

Prayer: Lord, help us recognize our own faults before judging others. Give us the wisdom to correct ourselves and the grace to love sincerely. Amen.

No juzgar a otros

Lucas 6: 39-42

¿Por qué miras la paja que está en el ojo de tu hermano, y no echas de ver la viga que está en tu propio ojo?

La gente no critica, se describe y Jesús hoy, nos invita a reflexionar sobre nuestras actitudes y juicios hacia los demás, porque es fácil caer en la tentación de juzgar con dureza, pero Jesús nos llama primero a corregir nuestras propias fallas antes de señalar las de los demás.Criticar, juzgar, sospechar no nos hace mejores, es una actitud q habla más de nosotros que de los demás.Debemos ser ejemplos de coherencia en nuestras vidas para no convertirnos en victimarios. La autoevaluación honesta es clave para nuestro crecimiento espiritual y personal, recordando que todos estamos en un proceso de aprendizaje. Nuestro juicio debe alinearse con lo que realmente somos. Si Jesús no nos juzga, nosotros tampoco debemos juzgar a los demás.

Oración: Señor, ayúdanos a reconocer nuestras propias fallas antes de juzgar a los demás. Da la sabiduría para corregirnos y la gracia para amar con sinceridad. Amén.
