THE GOOD AND THE BAD OF OUR HEARTS

Luke 6:  43-49

A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.

Luke 6:45 (NIV)

It is essential to give importance to what we carry in our hearts, because it is from there that our true nature comes. What we keep within, whether it be love, peace, anger, or resentment, influences our daily actions. Therefore, today Jesus invites us to care for and nourish our hearts with thoughts and attitudes imbued with love and all the revolutionary qualities of tenderness. By doing so, our actions will reflect the best of us and will always strive to be better human beings. Our mouths will speak from what abounds within us, so it is essential to harvest sincerity and kindness. Only then will we be able to reproduce positive and more humane behaviors in our relationships and in our daily lives. Let us remember that a heart full of love not only transforms our lives but also positively impacts those around us.

Prayer: Lord, help me to maintain a clean heart full of love, so that my actions may reflect your goodness and thus live in harmony with others and with myself. Amen.

Lo bueno y lo malo de nuestros corazones

Lucas 6:  43-49

El que es bueno, de la bondad que atesora en el corazón produce el bien; pero el que es malo, de su maldad produce el mal, porque de lo que abunda en el corazón habla la boca.

Lucas 6: 45

Es fundamental dar importancia a lo que llevamos en nuestro corazón, porque de ahí proviene nuestra verdadera naturaleza. Lo que guardamos en nuestro interior, ya sea amor, paz, enojo o resentimiento, influye en nuestras acciones diarias. Por eso, hoy Jesús nos invita a cuidar y alimentar nuestro corazón con pensamientos y actitudes impregnadas de amor y de todo lo revolucionario que tiene la ternura. Al hacerlo, nuestras acciones podrán reflejar lo mejor de nosotros y siempre estarán en la búsqueda de ser mejores seres humanos. De lo que abunda en nuestro interior hablará la boca, por lo que es esencial cosechar sinceridad y bondad. Solo así podremos reproducir comportamientos positivos y más humanos en nuestras relaciones y en nuestra vida diaria. Recordemos que un corazón lleno de amor no solo transforma nuestra vida, sino que también impacta positivamente a quienes nos rodean.

Oración:  Señor, ayúdame a mantener un corazón limpio y lleno de amor, para que mis acciones reflejen tu bondad y así vivir en armonía con los demás y conmigo mismo. Amén.
