SATISFIED BY PRAYER

Luke 6: 20-26

Blessed are you who hunger now, for you will be satisfied. Blessed are you who weep now, for you will laugh.

Luke 6:21(NIV )

Whoever hears this verse will feel peace. Nothing is more comforting than continuing to find solace in the words of Jesus, who subtly gives us a sign of happiness and hope in days when we experience hunger, not only as a physical need, and sadness not only as an illness of the heart. The image of hunger and sadness can be seen as the necessary search for justice, tranquility, and social order for all in times of so much bitterness and unrest. Once again, we receive a promise that will bring calm and comfort for the joy of those who continue to see God at work, giving us new strength to cling to a faith clothed in total humility. Today, being “Blessed” is very good news that makes us faithful to God and patient in the perfection of his timing to be satisfied by faith.

Prayer: We ask you for fulfillment and peace, Lord. Strengthen our faith and help us to trust in your promise of happiness and hope, even in the most difficult times. Amen.

Saciados por fe

Lucas 6: 20-26

Bienaventurados los que ahora tienen hambre, porque serán saciados; bienaventurados los que ahora lloran, porque reirán.

Lucas 6: 21

Quien quiera que escuche este versículo sentirá paz. Nada es más reconfortante que seguir encontrando consuelo en las palabras de Jesús, el cual sutilmente nos da una señal de felicidad y esperanza en días en los que experimentamos el hambre no solo como necesidad física, y la tristeza no sólo como un mal del corazón. La imagen del hambre y la tristeza puede verse como la necesaria búsqueda de justicia, de tranquilidad y orden social para todos en tiempos de tanto trago amargo y malestar.Una vez más recibimos una promesa que traerá calma y consuelo para dicha de quienes siguen viendo a Dios obrar, dándonos nuevas fuerzas para aferrarnos a una fe revestida de total humildad. Hoy el ser “Bienaventurados” es una muy buena noticia que nos hace ser fieles a Dios y pacientes en la perfección de su tiempo para ser saciados por fe.

Oración: Plenitud y paz te pedimos Señor, fortalece nuestra fe y ayúdanos a confiar en tu promesa de felicidad y esperanza, incluso en los momentos más difíciles. Amén.
