HE IS IN PRAYER

Luke 6:12-19

One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God.

This is a crucial moment in Jesus’ ministry. Before making such an important decision, Jesus withdrew to the mountain and spent the whole night in prayer. This act shows us the importance of seeking God’s guidance in prayer before making momentous decisions in our lives and ministry. Jesus did not act impulsively or under pressure but sought the Father’s will in deep communion with him.

At dawn, he called his disciples together. Among them were people with different personalities and different futures. This reminds us that God uses imperfect people to fulfill his purposes, to collaborate in his Kingdom, and that divine wisdom does not always coincide with our human expectations.

We are called to imitate Jesus in constantly seeking God’s will through prayer. May we also seek the Lord’s guidance before making decisions and trust him to work amidst our imperfections.

Prayer: Lord, help me to follow the example of your Son Jesus, spending time in prayer to seek your will in every decision. May your healing power flow through me to bless others, and may my life be a reflection of your love and grace. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Es, en oración.

Lucas 6.12-19

En aquellos días él fue al monte a orar, y pasó la noche orando a Dios.

Lucas 6,12

Este es un momento crucial en el ministerio de Jesús. Antes de tomar una decisión tan importante, Jesús se retiró a la montaña y pasó toda la noche en oración. Este acto nos muestra la importancia de buscar la dirección de Dios en oración antes de tomar decisiones trascendentales en nuestra vida y ministerio. Jesús no actuó impulsivamente, ni por presión, sino que buscó la voluntad del Padre en comunión profunda con Él.

Al amanecer, llamó a sus discípulos. Entre ellos había personas con diferentes personalidades y futuros distintos. Esto nos recuerda que Dios usa a personas imperfectas para cumplir sus propósitos, para colaborar en su Reinado y que la sabiduría divina no siempre coincide con nuestras expectativas humanas.

Somos llamados a imitar a Jesús en la búsqueda constante de la voluntad de Dios mediante la oración. Que podamos también buscar la dirección del Señor antes de tomar decisiones y confiar en que Él obra en medio de nuestras imperfecciones.

Oración: Señor ayúdame a seguir el ejemplo de tu Hijo Jesús, dedicando tiempo en oración para buscar tu voluntad en cada decisión. Que tu poder sanador fluya a través de mí para bendecir a otros y que mi vida sea un reflejo de tu amor y gracia. En el nombre de Jesús, amén.
